Haile Homestead

Tradition permeates Haile Plantation, beginning in the 1850's, when the Haile family relocated to Gainesville fro Camden, South Carolina. The family established their home here and it quickly became the center of local social activities. The Homestead, as it was fondly referred to, hosted a multitude of distinguished guests and contained numerous "house parties" within its walls. Today Haile Plantation is home to thousands of Gainesville residents who continue the tradition of camaraderie and community established over a century ago.
