Third Place Pub & Grille
The Third Place Pub & Grille gets its name from a concept written about in the book The Great Good Places, by Ray Oldenburg.
Oldenburg paints a picture of society before the majority owned two automobiles per household, everyone lived in the heart of the city, and walking was the mode of transportation. As people walked they would stop to chat with neighbors and friends. They gathered on the front stoop, at the corner store, the beauty parlor, and the parks.
These gathering points, as Oldenburg describes them, are known as "Third Places" and everyone needs three places, the "first place" is your home and the "second place" is your job. Your "third place" is the place you go to socialize and meet with your friends, neighbors, and people of your community to simply hang out for the pleasures of good company and lively conversation.
In the spirit of pubs in England, beirgartens in Germany and cafes in France we invite you to sit back, relax and enjoy our unique atmosphere, creative food, and entertaining staff. The longer it takes…
